ReplyDeleteHi, I am new to your blog. I just wanted to leave a comment and tell you that I also have a pumpkin tureen like that. Except mine is kind of a goldish orange color. When I saw the picture of yours, I had remembered that I have it tucked away in a box somewhere and I need to get it out for pumpkin season!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and hosting!
ReplyDeleteMany blessings!!
I'm so glad that everyone is on the mend. As to the tureen, how fortunate you are to have such a thoughtful guy. For whatever reason, I use mine more for punch than soup.

Thanks so much for doing these Foodie Fridays. I gave up being a foodie for a time but now I'm back and enjoying it again. I forgot how much fun it can be and delighted to find the wonderful gang and great recipes here.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe I am just getting around to Foodie Friday? Things have been so hectic here...but I am sure you know about hectic. I am happy to hear everyone is improving. I hope soon you are back to normal so you can enjoy your days without any worries.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous tureen! Dr. G. has wonderful taste! ;)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter just emailed me the perfect recipe to put in your tureen... pumpkin dip!
ReplyDelete2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese
4 cups of powdered sugar
1 30 oz. can pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
Mix cream cheese and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill. Recipe suggests serving with ginger snaps but her friend served it with teddy grahams.
