This morning, I walked the dogs in the rain, and I noticed that the hills were washed in russet and gold. I've been working so hard, autumn slipped in on puppy dog feet. I haven't had time to decorate, but I have a few pictures from last year. I don't know where I found the time last year--I must be slipping. :-0
Also, I have a request. Mom of a German Shorthair was in an automobile accident this week. She has a concussion. I know she would appreciate your prayers and good wishes.
Also, please join Mary at Mary's Meanderings blogspot for a 30-Day Contentment Therapy Session. Don't forget to register for prizes--Mary will have a monthly drawing. For details, check out her blog Mary's Meanderings

Yesterday I was in Atlanta, and I met up with Susan (Moonlight and Magnolias). She brought me the darlingest egg cup. We talked about blogland and how much we loved it, and I lamented about how I didn't have anything to blog about, design wise, because I was working on a new book and my house was a tee total wreck. My husband found a neutral background, one that hid the true location of our meeting, and took our picture. Susan said she would keep my secret, even though it was a sort of silly secret, at that. Little did we know that my days as Gollum was numbered. LOL LOL
But the truth is a force of nature. I don't know how Buffie figured it out, but she did. Buffie, you need to come up and help me do some sleuthing. I will provide the margaritas if you bring the chips. LOL
Okay. It's true. I do write books. But what you don't know is, I'm messy.
I'd planned to resume blogging when my secret project was finished (a new book). Meanwhile, I had nothing to blog about. It wasn't Blog Block. It was Housekeeping Block. I didn't want to show you all the the Post-It notes, the piles of yellow legal pads--but here it is. This is how writers decorate!!
Okay, on to other stuff.
The music on my blog is there because the new book features a weepy love triangle, and the music provided inspiration. I love to listen to music while I'm writing. Does anyone have any suggestions for great love songs? If so, I'd love to hear them.
