Dr. Gollum has drawn three names.
And the winners are....
Cedwards (Carol) won the poinsetta box...and Mrs. Ben won the snowflake box.
Mama (Kathy) won a signed copy of Mad Girls in Love.
I'm so sad that I only had two boxes. I wish I could send everyone a book and/or a box. So we will have drawings throughout 2009, for all kinds of things, and some books, too.
Ladies, congratulations on the boxes--and please email your addresses.
Dr Gollum you're the best!.
ReplyDeleteWooHoo!! Congratulations Mrs Ben and Carol your new boxes are just beautiful, enjoy.

ReplyDeleteHi Gollum...Congrats to the winners! Those boxes are so beautiful! And your book is such a special gift! I love your idea for an Oprah show with a dish give-away. Maybe her producers are reading your blog!...Debbie
ReplyDeleteOh, child! I'm doing more drawings the minute Christmas is over.
ReplyDeleteBut this month I will have a drawing for the beautiful tablescape book. I received the JPEG photos today, and oh--they are scrumptious!
Congratulations to the winners. What a great giveaway. Surely Oprah must have some time to read blogs or has staff that do so - you just never know!

Congrats to the winners;) French
ReplyDeleteDear Gollum, yes! Get out that Christmas village. I didn't fool with mine last year either, but I'm so glad I unpacked all those little boxes this time. Villages are enchanting!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm SO glad I won your other book giveaway, the Charles Faudree decorating book. It's a delight!
Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteAnd, if Oprah hears you - I live in Chicagoland, so ya know I'll be there will bells on!!!
Congrats to the winners...and I'm so blonde today that I didn't even remember there being a contest. Early stages of Alzheimers??? Maybe!
ReplyDeleteOooh! What a terriffic new "front page", "header" or whatever it's "called" in BLOGLAND, Michael! (And the STONE house in the middle is SOOOO INCREDIBLE~~~ it's especially a feast for the eyes of STONE-LOVERS!) Annnnd, how generous of you to gift some blogger friends! ~ (You are just toooo much, Sweetie!). Hope this weekend is perfect for you n' the family in every way! Warmest hugs as always, Linda
ReplyDeleteP.S. My heart n' eyes just well up every single time I come here, & hear the opening music n' words from the soldiers. Sometimes I just sit back, close my eyes, and remember "those days" during VietNam and the Gulf War, & the memories are sooo... too..."fresh". I almost shudder sometimes... And yesterday the computer man was here, & when he made sure I could go directly to Gollum's Column, & he heard the soldiers voices n' music, HIS EYES welled up, too ~ BIG TIME!!!... Seems HIS SON is on his 3rd TOUR there, even after being wounded ~ TWICE! ~~~ I believe America is soooo blessed to have such incredible citizens, isn't she? AND, I'm so glad there are so many people thinking of them, & the sacrifices they AND their families are making. Thanks for supporting them as PEOPLE! XOXO, Me
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Gollum,
ReplyDeleteI flew over here hoping to see some more dishes, but this is just as good!

Today, I am going to Collingswood, NJ (a litle quaint town) where there is a strip of thrift and antique shops... all lined up just waiting for me to find some White Ironstone Transferware or dishes!!! I am taking my camera and I will be posting some time this evening!!!!!

ReplyDeletehugs ~lynne~
I'm reading "Mad Girls In Love" right now, Kathy will fall in love herself with the characters. The precious boxes couldn't be in better homes. I think all of us should flood Oprah's website with emails about Designs by Gollum!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the lucky ladies!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! Have a wonderful weekend. Sign me up for the next ones! ;) Jan
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow! What a great surprise this morning! Thank you Gollum and Dr. Gollum! I can't wait to display the Pointsetta Box! It will be a great place to store the key to my Grandmother's anniversary clock!!
ReplyDeleteAs for Oprah---- I'll see what I can do. I don't live in Chicago but I do live in Illinois. I'm NOT so proud of that these days. Used to be the Land of Lincoln but now it seems to be the home of crooked politicians. I'm hanging my head in shame. Oh yes, back to Oprah! I think she should make ALL of your books Oprah books! Then we could all join you on National TV!!!!! Even if that never happens, we can all still be Michael's Personal Book Club!
Thanks again for the great surprise! I NEVER win anything! This is just really making me happy! I can't wait to see it up close and personal!!!!!!
hugs~ Carol
Donna, I'm so excited about your shopping trip. When you get back, please tell us everything. I hope you take lots and lots of pictures.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations you lucky ladies! Gollum, I think that Oprah idea is a great one! Hopefully, they are reading this. This is one of thos Kevin Bacon game type things.....I worked with a woman (1996) whose sister worked for Oprah in Chicago and at Christmas that year she received a Rolex watch. So that is as close to Oprah as I'll ever get....Robyn
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have already emailed Oprah! It's easy to make suggestions for new shows ......
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Girls for winning such wonderful prizes... And Gollum thanks you for having such a great giveaway... The book was a treasured one for sure... I am ready to go to Oprah with you... Lets head on over there... Have a great Saturday...
