When my dogs bark, I "know" what they're saying. Usually. One type of bark (accompanied by play-growls) means, "Get up! Let's go outside." Another says, "Dude, where's the food?" A low pitched bark, punctuated with growls, means, "A dude is here, and I'm gonna bite."
Since I am totally fascinated by dogs and their relationships with their humans, I thought I'd share a few videos of "talking animals."
I have to admit, the talking parrot made me laugh.
Ustream has a live cam showing puppies at play--and they have developed a loyal following:
Shiba Inu Puppy Cam
1. What about a talking parrot?
2. Our Husky, Chuchee, is vocal; but not quite like the husky in this tube.
3. Various dogs say, "I Love Mama (and more)"
4. Talking Cats (not really)
5. A New Yorkie-- Schmitty "Dogs Who Care" (www.dogswhocare.com)
As the saying goes " Love me love my Dogs". They also do so much good. I love to see them in hospitals visting the sick. They lower bloodpresher by being a calming effect on you by petting them. I have 3 so I am real calm.Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi again, GG! ARTIS (Kathy)is LUCKY, like you, to be able to have MORE than just ONE precious four-footer!!! IF we had the necessary "whatever" (space, time, etc), there's no doubt I would have a whole menagerie ~ yes, it drove my Mom "crazy" when I was young girl, bringing home any & all strays (including PEOPLE!) that I saw/found!~~~~ BUT, they bring a smile to one's heart when we didn't even KNOW that we NEEDED a "special" one!!! JOYOUS!!! THANKS so much!!! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteso cute!!! I love them all..but that parrot was amazing! Thanks for sharing the fun!
ReplyDeleteThe bottom little guy makes me miss our little Yorkie, Scooter we had way back when, when we didn't travel as much. What personalities dogs have! What do you do with your pooches when you are away? Jan
ReplyDeleteNow that we live on a farm, we never leave. Ever. I did write a little essay about having to leave my Yorkies to go on a book tour, and it's going into Mermaids' paperback.
ReplyDeleteWith a farm, you never know what's going to happen. Today, the mean sheep (a ram named Frankensheep) was stalking the pygmy goats so we had to run outside and squirt him with a water bottle (vet recommended it--and it works).
Hi Gollum! Oh, I love the doggies. Sometimes Chloe Dawn says 'Mama' - I know she does. She does talk to me and I know what she's saying :)
ReplyDeleteNow that last video with little Smitty is a great thing.
We love our little fuzzy faces!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
