If you haven't dropped your name into the hat to win one of Charles's books, please leave a comment. 4 books will be given away next week.
Early in December, I will be reviewing a gorgeous new tablescaping book (and interviewing the author), and there will be a drawing for that book, too.
I've been busy writing and have missed visting my favorite blogs. Thank goodness for archives!!And a thousand thank yous to my friends who've left kind words about my books. It means the world to me.
Talk to you all later,
Gollum

I enjoyed Faudree's books so much. The best way to describe them is a rich dessert. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of books, I finished reading Crazy Ladies and She Flew the Coop which I highly recommend. I just started reading American Pie and once again I'm drawn into the story. It's been years since I've been so enamored by books. Thank you.
G' morning', GG! Such a lovely, clean, charming, calm & welcoming way to greet the day ~~~ your table looks just soooo pleasant for creating that special "let's greet the world with a smile" attitude!!! Yummylicious!!! And of course, in MY/OUR life, having that special four-footer around is a "top prioity"!!! THANKS, kiddo, and HAPPY WEEKEND! Love, Linda
ReplyDeleteplease entry my name--i would love one of Charles books
ReplyDeleteHello Gollum, I am sure I have already asked you to add my name for the Mr Fauldree book draw but will confirm that here just in case, The tablescape book sounds wonderful and something I would love to add to my collection so I will be waiting in line for your post on that, hope your writing is coming along and we can all look forward to a new book soon, I have Mermaids and am hoping to read it on the flight back from London, ten or so hours of pure indulgence, (me, your book and a steady supply of Gin&T's) who said long haul flights were boring hehe, have a lovely weekend, Kathy.
ReplyDeleteps isnt Leona Lewis the best, hugs, K.
Morning Gollum, I've missed you and am glad that you're still among the living and breathing. Love your breakfast that you've fixed out on that balcony for us. All I could find this morning was some sad looking cereal.
ReplyDeleteI think I put my name in the hat, but if not, would you please add it. I'd love to win a Charles Faudree book.
I finished Mermaids last week. Loved it (of course). You always make be cry in the last chapter. It's like you have insight into my soul. How do you do that?
Have a great weekend. I'm having to let creativity rule for the next few days. Well, and the grocery store. Evidently there are no fairies living at my house who will shop for the pantry!
Carol
Good morning sweet Gollum, Your daily blogs have been missed, but I sure understand the real world hitting us in the face and having to make a living. I'm so enjoying your books and anxious to add to that collection. Definetly throw my ole name in the hat for the book. Have to tell ya girl, you'd have to pick me up off the floor if I actually won..but I'll be happy for the one that does. Any hints about the next interview? I'll be looking forward to that..
ReplyDeleteHope you and yours have a super w/k. Hugs ~lynne~
I've been so preoccupied with reading (an amazing author named Michael West - a woman!), I forgot to throw my hat into the ring .... consider it tossed.
ReplyDeleteHi Gollum =)
ReplyDeleteMy family is a bunch of serious bookworms, and books are on the top of the list at Christmas. Thank you for making my selection of many, many gifts a perfect one! I've always said my family has all the trappings of a good southern novel - it's a tapestry of tragedy, humor, wit, charm, and mayhem. Your books will be very well loved and right up their alley. I've put them on my list to Santa, as well ;)
The table you've set above is unbelievably inviting. I'd love to come sit at it! May I pour? Yum!
I'd love to drop my name into the drawing hat. Mmmm, beautiful books! The best kind of treasure.
Enjoy your day,
Isa
Hi Gollum,
ReplyDeleteI think we just like to know your around. ;)

Good morning G! I'm still chuckling over the animal talk from your last post :)
ReplyDeletePlease drop my name in the virtual hat!
Have a terrific day!
Hi Gollum, If I haven't registered, please put my name in. I loved the last post, especially the parrot one. We used to have a lilac crowned amazon named Peppy when I was a teenager. My brother and I would teach him lots of words. He He. My mom had a bible study group over and Peppy shouted "Good Morning, Jesus loves you, kiss my Butt!" I think my mom was pretty embarassed, but we thought it was funny!! Kristen
ReplyDeleteHi Gollum, I thought I would let you know that I went to our local library to check out 1 or 2 of your books,(as I can only read so much of a day) and the only one I could get was Mermaids in the Basement, as all the other had been checked out or were on hold! You are a popular girl! I guess I will have to start with your newest first and work backwards,or will that confuse me and/or ruin a storyline for me? Thought I would ask before I get too into it. We do miss you, but just a couple of lines is good, like Jerseygirl said. Take care, Jan
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I put my name in the hat for these books or not but please do so.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Gretchen

Well, we've all been missing you too. But we do know that you are engrossed in your writing, so we'll forgive you. I had lunch with Mary Gay today, and I think she said your new publisher was here with another author this week and that she said she loved the bookstore, so I sure hope that means you'll be coming here with your new book. Keep on turning out those wonderful books. laurie

ReplyDeleteHi Gollum...Have been crazy busy and can't recall if I entered the drawing. If I didn't, please pop my name in that hat! I'm in dire need of guidance and inspiration. I've stolen an hour here and there to finish reading all of your books, and I'm now officially a fan of Gollum the Author. (I was already a fan of Gollum, the interior decorator!) Anxiously awaiting your next offering... Nancy
ReplyDeletePS: Was disappointed to see the comment from Susan (aka: Moonlight and Magnolias)...Was hoping that she had authored the tablescaping book!
